It only seems a short time ago that they were just my little
munchkins gambolling along the road as we counted the number of steps to get
down to the shops or sounding out the words on signs to find out what they
meant.
This week however it’s definitely hit home that even though
they’ll always be my babies; my little men are finally growing up.
That at age 11 they’ve already started to tower over titchy old
5 foot nothing me is a dead giveaway but the email on Monday to let us know
they’d been offered a place at their grammar school of choice confirmed it.
While I miss the two cheeky chappies that used to make me
giggle with their antics (filling the toilet up with all the balls from their
ball pool being a favourite) I can’t help but wish them every success for what
lies in their future and let them know that they make me one very proud mummy .
